The plan is suitable for families seeking access to quality medical resources for their children. It is available to children from the 31st day after birth through age 17. The insured person must be the policyholder's child and must reside in mainland China for at least two-thirds of the insurance year. Inpatient coverage and optional outpatient benefits form the core protection, with optional preventive benefits also available. Inpatient treatment covers hospital room and board; surgery; an accompanying person's bed; intensive care; treatment, including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, consultations and pathological analysis; diagnostic examinations; inpatient medicines; rehabilitation and professional nursing for up to 90 days per year; and ambulance expenses. Special Outpatient Treatment covers kidney dialysis and treatment of malignant tumors, including proton and heavy ion therapy, with full reimbursement. Optional outpatient benefits cover physician consultations, specialist visits, prescription medicines, laboratory tests and diagnostic examinations, outpatient surgery, physiotherapy, traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, emergency room care and emergency dental care. Optional preventive benefits cover preventive examinations, immunizations, dental care and eye care.

Inpatient-only coverage in Shanghai excluding High Cost Providers costs approximately RMB 1,180 per year for ages 12–17. Premiums in Beijing and Tianjin are higher than in Shanghai; premiums outside Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai are approximately 15% lower than in Shanghai. Plans B and C also cover tonsil and adenoid surgery, provided the child first enrolls at age zero or one and maintains continuous coverage. From age 18, members can transfer to Advanced Individual Global Medical Insurance without underwriting, maintaining uninterrupted protection.
