MSH CHINA Receives "Regional Headquarters of Multinational Corporations" Certificate
The 35th certification ceremony for regional headquarters and R&D centers of multinational companies was held at the municipal government. Gong Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, presented the certificates to the regional headquarters and R&D centers of multinational companies and took a group photo. Among the enterprises that received the certificates this time, the manufacturing industry accounted for 57.5%, and the service industry accounted for 42.5%.

As one of the few modern service industry multinational companies to receive the certificate, MSH (Shanghai) Corporate Services Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as MSH) has been rooted in China for more than twenty years. CEO Ms. Zhang Yuanjia talked about the reasons for selecting Shanghai as the location for the multinational company's regional headquarters: "Firstly, the Shanghai municipal government strongly encourages foreign companies to invest in Shanghai and has provided great support in aspects such as entry and exit, capital operations, and talent introduction. The epidemic has not reduced the investment confidence of multinational companies in Shanghai and even the entire Chinese market. After an extraordinary two months, MSH has cast a vote of trust with practical actions.

▶ On May 29, the Shanghai municipal government issued the "Shanghai Action Plan to Accelerate Economic Recovery and Revitalization". Next, Shanghai will continue to accelerate the pace of opening up to the outside world, release more policy effects, actively create a world-class business environment, and help multinational companies and other enterprises achieve greater development in Shanghai.
▶ "Encourage multinational companies to establish regional headquarters and headquarter-type institutions in the city, support regional headquarters and headquarter-type institutions in Shanghai to gather business, expand functions, and improve levels, and actively participate in the construction of Shanghai's 'five centers'."
▶ The conditions for applying for the recognition of regional headquarters or headquarter-type institutions include "foreign-invested enterprises with independent legal person status," "the total assets of the parent company are not less than 200 million/100 million US dollars," "the registered capital is not less than 2 million/1 million US dollars," and "make outstanding contributions to the economic development of the region" and other conditions.
