On April 29th, the Nightingale Choir of Paris, France on their “China Trip” world tour came to the Concert Hall of the Shanghai Music Conservatory. The Choir was giving an outstanding performance, bringing the charm of classical music to music fans alike.

This concert is the first event in celebrating MSH CHINA’s 15th Anniversary; nearly 300 guests of the insurance industry’s well-known names attended, in addition to other well-known management members.

The Choir’s founder and conductor, Alain Lechevalier is a senior member of MSH CHINA’s parent group. The Choir was founded in 1979 and has performed on tour in France, Switzerland, England, Italy, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Russia and other countries. This was the Choir’s first time coming to China.

Over the years, the choir has focused on performing works that have either been lost or unknown; this performance will include a composition titled “A solemn requiem” written in 1760. This time, they performed 80 minutes of resurfaced musical masterpieces.

In order to give back to the community, the event organizer has cordially invited to the concert a group of self-reliant disabled individuals from the community who produce handmade works of art. This way, everyone may enjoy the beauty of French music together.
