During
summer, the average temperature in China

tricks that can help you beat the heat this summer.
1. CHANGE THE LIGHTS
Did
you know that 90% of the energy produced by an incandescent bulb is heat? This
extra heat added to the ambient warm temperature in your home surely doesn’t
help during the dog days.
The
solution? Change to fluorescent lights or LED lamp.
2. DRINK WATER
When
you’re hydrated, your body feels cooler. It’s also important to drink more water
since you’re releasing much more sweat.
3. KEEP THE HEAT OUT
When
the sun is out, you should keep the windows closed and curtains down to avoid
the heat to penetrate your house.
4. A FAN
To
increase the benefits of a fan, you can place frozen water bottles in front of it.
This way you create a natural air conditioner.
5. MUNG BEAN JUICE
Chinese
people drink green bean juice warm and even if it might sounds contradictory to
drink hot beverages during summer, it’s a traditional way used to keep your
